The Santa Clause's "Accident" is a LIE (and the Snow Globe proves It)
The Santa Clause (1994) — An immortal who'd mastered a billion rooftops did not simply slip.
A man in a Santa suit falls off a roof and dissolves into glitter. The franchise later admits he was an immortal who'd worked a billion rooftops.
"The Rose Such A Clatter Company." — Charlie, reading the label.
Magic produces flying reindeer and infinite toy bags. It does not stamp █████████████████ on a ladder rung. That ladder — which Scott never owned — materialized in his yard, perfectly positioned to guide him up to the roof and into the sleigh. The name implies manufacturing, design decisions, workshop production. Someone at the North Pole built it, etched the logo, and placed the ██████ at the exact moment he'd need it.
Call it what it is: a stage prop. The video opens on the one detail that gives away the theater.
The prop guided him up to do one specific thing. What did putting it on actually cost him?
"In putting on the suit and entering the sleigh, the wearer waives any and all rights to any previous identity... in perpetuity."
Bernard reads the binding terms only after Scott has already put on ███████. Scott signed nothing, negotiated nothing, understood nothing — he pulled on a coat because the previous wearer had vanished and his kid was panicking. That single action bound him to the North Pole forever. The elves weren't surprised, because they'd been █████████████.
A contract of adhesion sprung in a moment of crisis. The video shows why the timing had to be exactly that.

Two later entries confirm it: the succession clause lets a Santa retire by choosing a willing successor, and the escape clause needs nothing but the ██████████ he already owned. Santa 17 knew both. So why stage a death on a roof? Because both legitimate exits required the one thing the North Pole couldn't get — ████████████████████████████████. No sane person accepts that job knowing what it entails.
